On August 10, 2022, Amy Snowden Mather passed away after an eight-year battle with cancer. Amy was a beloved teacher at Morningside Elementary School for 33 years, only retiring this past May because her health would no longer allow her to continue. Amy had a loving and generous spirit and the unique ability to make all who knew her, especially her students, feel special and loved. She had a positive impact on everyone she met. Amy is survived by her loving husband, Jeff, and their two daughters, Katherine and Grace.
