MathCon Nationals Trip
Donation protected
Shubham and I (Anubhav) are in ninth and tenth grade, respectively, and both part of Fairchild Wheeler's Math Club! This year, the math club has undergone several practice sessions for the American Math Contests (10 and 12) and Math Con. In Math Con
(

) , we became national finalists (top 99.5%) for our grades - it was so invigorating when we learned that the two of us would be representing the school in the national round! Out of more than 45,000 students in 42 states from 330 schools, we are in the top 700 who have been invited to Chicago to compete against hundreds of others. To fund this trip (three plane tickets - chaperone included, two hotel rooms for one night, and transportation) we need your help! The grand total for this trip is $1200; it seems like a gargantuan number but every dollar counts. Please support us and the math club, and in return we will try our hardest to win not only this contest, but all in the future!

Update: Shubham and Anubhav both placed in the national round! Shubham received the 1st place award for all 9th graders, and Anubhav received the 12th place prize for all sophomores! FCW Math Club is encouraging donations to fund next year's many competitions, including MathCon. Please continue to support us!
