I took a leap of faith. I went from traditional tutoring helping people in the current system and approach (largely based on rote memorization and mechanical technique, which is difficult and uninspiring), to sharing the direct perception of mathematical truth, teaching mathematics in this intuitive way, a way that spreads enlightenment and the spiritual principles of love. Tutoring having been my secure approach financially, and this new approach being precarious, but more meaningful in service to others. I am now in a financial predicament. I am 5 to 6 months behind on my rent because the leap of faith has not, as of now, supported me financially. I seek to spread the Dharma, spread the light, and spread love and spirituality through mathematics. I’m making mathematics accessible to people who want to learn, and also making sure that it’s done in a way that empowers others. I spend much of my day in meditation, mathematical study, scriptural study (reading various spiritual texts) and computer programming. This is a full-time job. I don’t spend much time with friends and if I do it centers on this and spirituality. I’d like to continue to create my videos and also provide free classes where anybody can attend, to have one or two classes a week that are 1.5 hours where anybody can attend for free who wants to learn mathematics and Bhakti Yoga, the yoga of love.
Support me in making these publicly available free classes, and support me in saving my home, so that I can continue to work in the capacity that I have and beyond. I need to make $15,000 in the next three days. If 1500 people give a small amount, I will make this goal very easily.
I’ve lived in this apartment for the last 11 years. I intend to give as much as I can in return for your support.
