Maternity Unit Prince Charles Hospital

Tragically 10 stillbirths are registered everyday in the Uk but now special cuddle cots are helping families cope with their devastating loss.

Sadly Our daughter Indi Megan Grace was born sleeping on the 12th May 2022 and due to our local hospital having a cuddle cot we were able to have 4 precious days with Our Girl and make as many memories as possible in a special bereavement room called The Primrose Room and also at home.

A cuddle cot is a cooling mattress that stop the baby’s body deteriorating quickly, it allows parents to have time to grieve with their baby and make memories with them.

A cuddle cot is priced at £1,500, if we can make this amount we would be very greatful as Prince Charles hospital currently only has 2, if they were both being used or if one of them were to be in maintenance then there could be a family that would go without.

We as a family couldn’t thank the Maternity Unit enough for all the support we received and still having since Our daughter was born and as a Thank you we want to help raise funds for them in Memory Of Indi.
