Maternal Journal Exhibition!

Maternal Journal is an initiative that gives a positive outlet to navigate the unique journey of parenthood.

As part of Centre 70’s Wellbeing Service we have been running free Maternal Journal groups for the community for the past year. Centre 70 is a charity based in West Norwood that provides advice, counselling and wellbeing services for people who are facing social, mental health, financial or other challenges (www.centre70.org.uk)

These groups have provided a safe space for new parents to express their feelings, embrace challenges, and find support from eachother.

The outpouring of creativity, resilience, and support among these new mums has been awe-inspiring.

To celebrate the amazing creativity, and sense of community that has blossomed within these groups we want to arrange an exhibition this October!!

With your kind contributions, we will be able to secure the gorgeous exhibition space at Stanley Arts Centre for the exhibition, covering the cost of printing the art work and hopefully to have a nibble and drink or 2 at a launch event!

Every £ you donate will directly contribute to creating a space of celebration and reflection, where the voices of new parents will be heard and their creativity celebrated.
