Hi my name is BILL_L47. Some of you may know me as Bill . I'm a toronto street artist who's passion is speaking on the truth . The truth of history, social issues, mental health and my own life trauma. I have shown in many shows in Toronto but my real passion is my streetwork . Once I started showing in galleries it was clear very quickly how galleries in most cases are made not accessible to many walks of life . Trust me when I say even as a street artist I didn't feel very welcome most of the time . Instead of wasting my time showing in spaces only accessible to those granted status based on social and financial standing I took my work to the streets so that it was accessible to everyone . Having my work in the streets to connect and reach those who need it so they feel heard and not alone is what drives my creating. This gets expensive. All money I have made from selling pieces has gone directly back into my practices. Since I've moved more to the streets I have less of those crucial gallery sales . I'm reaching out to you ! And you and you and you . All my supporters to chip in whatever you can so I can keep creating this accessible pieces and also start some new projects like prints ,t shirts, bags and who else knows .
