I believe that very few things can capture the human condition better than art. As an educator, I regularly use art to inspire the hearts and minds of my students. It empowers me to teach content across all subjects, encourage emotional connection, and establish context as well as historical perspective within my classroom community. I believe art touches the heart and mind in ways the written word may limit us. Art compels us to think critically, more empathetically, and more creatively.

I wish to launch an art campaign for Saint Laurentius School of the Arts and Sciences. I have applied for a matching sponsorship of $3,500 to bring archival quality fine art prints into our school for all children in grades PreK-8 to have as part of their educational resources. Every dollar donated through this campaign will be applied to the total amount we need to raise to bring fine, archival quality art to our school. Any amount you donate would be greatly appreciated.
