Matcha Time Cafe - employee fund

30242700_15276615900_r.jpegAs many have already seen in the news, on Sunday, May 27th, the historic district of Ellicott City, MD was devastated by a massive flash flood that caused countless millions in damages to property and took at least one life.

The town is currently under a State Of Emergency and is closed for what is likely to be several months while damage accessments, cleanup, and building/street restoration projects are completed to make Main Street safe again for the public to visit.

All the while, our employees are out of work. With the summer season just starting, competition for jobs is already high. These awesome people are our number one priority and we need to find a way to help them with whatever we can manage to pay them while struggle to reopen.

A full 100% of donations will go first to our employees to help keep them solvent, and any leftovers will go towards relief efforts for the community.

The need is beyond huge but every little bit helps. Your generous donation of any size is more helpful and encouraging than you know. Please accept our deepest and sincere appreciation.

Thank you!
