I am so excited and blessed to have the opportunity to return to New York this summer with Northeast Bible Church to share Jesus Christ with underserved people groups living in New York City. I will be there the week of July 26-August 2 working with an organization called Urban Nations Outreach. UNO is a community development ministry that focuses on reaching New York City’s immigrants, refugees, unreached people groups, and underserved communities. Urban Nations has organized and developed various ongoing programs and ministries in Queens, Brooklyn, and The Bronx. They work with local community centers, churches, schools, and other community-based organizations to offer free afterschool and summer kids’ programs, free English and other classes, and various referral services.

Most of their programs are geared toward reaching West African immigrants (from several countries and tribes) and Asian immigrants (from Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, Uzbekistan, China, Nepal, and Tibet). Our partnership with UNO will include opportunities to engage both kids and adults from all over the world with the love of Jesus and the hope of the Gospel. We’ll also have a few opportunities to learn about other religions and beliefs to understand better the people groups we are engaging with as we point to the truth of who Jesus is.
