Honoring Brenda Velazquez: A Legacy of Love, Strength, and Compassion

On June 29, 2025, our beloved Brenda Velazquez passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 63 years old. Brenda was the heart of our family—a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, and a source of strength, joy, and comfort to everyone around her.

Brenda lived life with passion, always putting her family first and never hesitating to extend a helping hand or a listening ear. She was a fighter, a breast cancer survivor, and a dedicated nurse who spent her career caring for others with empathy and grace.

In her final days, Hospice care played a vital role, ensuring she was kept comfortable, dignified, and surrounded by love. Hospice provided not just medical support, but emotional peace for Brenda and her loved ones. Their incredible care gave our family the chance to be present and connected during her final moments.

What many don’t realize is that Hospice services rely entirely on donations to provide this level of compassionate care. As we honor Brenda’s legacy, we are raising funds to support Hospice and help cover funeral expenses for the family.

We will be donating 50% of all funds raised directly to Hospice in Brenda’s name, as a tribute to the comfort and kindness they gave her. The remaining 50% will help ease the financial burden on the family as they navigate this painful time and say goodbye to a woman who meant so much to us all.
