Hi, my name is Issie Brown, and I‘m an Australian flautist. I’m seeking your support for my postgraduate study overseas.
I‘m delighted to be commencing a 2-year Master‘s degree in September 2025 at the Hochschule der Künste, Bern (HKB), Switzerland, studying with the phenomenal Professor Adam Walker (formerly Principal Flute of the London Symphony Orchestra). This opportunity is absolutely invaluable to me as an emerging musician.
Whilst I‘m thrilled for the exciting chapter ahead, study in Switzerland is particularly financially challenging due to the sky-high cost of living, and my legal inability to work for the first six months. In order to secure a Residence Permit, I also need to prove I have access to CHF 18000 each year (nearly $34500 AUD).
