Masters Powerlifting fees & travel

Hi, my name is Sue and I am 65 years young and a competitive powerlifter. I've been competing in powerlifting since November 2017, and have represented Canada internationally at NAPFs twice, Masters Worlds twice and Commonwealths once.

Being a Masters Powerlifter is exciting and rewarding but very costly. The travel and new gear adds up and we are not sponsored. All costs come out of our own pockets, so every little bit helps.

In August 2023, I competed at the NAPF Classic & Equipped Powerlifting Championships in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands in where I won Gold overall and Gold for Squats. This was my 2nd time to represent my province and country as a member of Team Canada. Every lift was a record attempt as there were no NAPF records in the M3/84+ kg class!!!! This year I'm on Team Canada for NAPFs again, back in Cayman Islands. I hope to beat my own NAPF records this time.

Please help me achieve my goals to continue competing as long as I can and hopefully inspire other women, of all ages, to compete in this amazing sport!
