Hello, MSGT Andy Ford and his wife Michelle were friends and colleagues of mine at Travis Air Force Base, Calif. We all met as AGE mechanics with the 60th Air Mobility Wing. Michelle and Andy met in the shop, fell in love, and got married. They’ve been together for decades and had two beautiful children. Unfortunately, Andy lost his battle with PTSD in July of 2024 and took his own life, leaving Michelle and the kids with nothing.

While Michelle navigates the VA and files paperwork to bury Andy with honors, he leaves behind no life insurance that she is aware of to care for their family. He was medically retired from the U.S. Air Force, and is remembered with fondness by those with whom he served. Thank you in advance for supporting this military family. Both Andy and Michelle are Air Force veterans and appreciate your rallying around their family during this difficult time.
