Many of you have been following Tameka's breast cancer journey for the last 10 years. She and her family are grateful for all of your kindness, prayers and thoughts during this time.

As you may know, in December 2023 Tameka was informed that her breast cancer medications were no longer working, that her breast cancer had returned and she would have to receive a full mastectomy.

Tameka's initial surgery on 3/15 for her mastectomy went well. She was able to return home 2 days after her surgery and it was officially confirmed that she would not have to receive chemotherapy or radiation.

Her recovery progress has continued and she was recently able to have the drainage tubes removed from her chest on 3/29. There was a minor emergency and trip to Urgent Care on Easter weekend, but it was quickly addressed and Tameka is back home looking forward to returning to work remotely on 4/8 and her remaining reconstructive surgeries throughout the rest of the year.

Tameka is a proud wife, proud mom, a bonus daughter, a proud big sister, proud auntie and a life long friend. We want to be there to there to support Tameka during this journey in the same way she has been a support to so many.
