A family displaced and left homeless after losing everything in a massive fire on Friday, December 12th. Their belongings were completely destroyed by the fire, and their home was demolished. The fire started at 17 Garfield Place in Albany, NY, and then quickly spread to buildings 15 and 19. Desmond is a local independent contractor, and he and his family were living in building number 19. He lost all of his tools and the necessary equipment for him to run his business.
