Tumor overtaking lower jaw

Hello, my name is Paulina Ivanna Cubero but I go by Ivy.
I have recently been struggling with proper care for a massive cyst I have developed on my lower jaw. I grew up in foster care and have not had the best guidance as to caring for myself and taking care of the things that matter the most, like my health. I have now begun to seek getting the cyst removed but my medical insurance refuses to pay for the biopsy that is needed for a surgeon to remove the cyst. It is so large it will start to fracture my jaw and I am at risk of loosing my bottom jaw if I don’t get it treated as soon as possible. I have had this cyst as long as I can remember but just recently within the last two years it has become exponentially larger and painful. During my wisdom tooth removal in early February my oral surgeon freaked out and could not understand why I had not taken care of the cyst before. A lack of financial support and insurance has hindered me. I was able to find a foundation that helps former foster youth to help me pay the out of pocket cost for the biopsy, but I am still left unable to work and cannot pay my monthly bills without my working wages I earn. The biopsy has left my lower jaw mutilated , they grinded my jaw to try and remove as much of the cyst as they could but the cyst has breached into my teeth already, and I am unable to work while I heal. I have come to terms that I will loose teeth once the cyst is correctly identified (surgeon must know what kind of cyst it is as there are many forms and it must be removed properly
depending on the kind of cyst). I am now struggling financially due to being unable to work while healing from the biopsy and will struggle further once the biopsy results come back and the proper surgery is scheduled. I am hoping my insurance will cover the actual surgery considering it is medically necessary so that I don’t lose my entire bottom jaw. The surgery will cause me to loose several teeth and I will surely be out of work for many weeks while I recover. I am unfortunately unprepared to pay for all these costs and was in no way prepared to be out of work, now while I heal from the biopsy and while I heal from the surgery that I will be having once the biopsy results come back from the pathology lab. I am hoping that I can find some aid by the generosity of others so that I can pay for my bills and feed myself while I heal from this biopsy and the surgery that is necessary so that I can keep my lower jaw before it fractures.
