Mass Removal Surgery for Titan
Hi everyone,
I am not sure where I can begin, but Titan is one of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever met. He’s a dog that you could just walk up to and he will demand affection and want all of your attention.
My good friend’s dog named Titan, is in
need of cancer surgery. He has been diagnosed with anal gland adenocarcinoma (AGA). This is a type of cancer that arises from the apocrine glands in the walls of the anal sacs. This cancer tends to be highly invasive within the tissues surrounding the tumor and also has a tendency to metastasize (spread throughout the body). To prevent any further possible susceptibility of the cancer to metastasize, his owner has elected surgery to remove the mass to help Titan prolong his life and to surgically remove the mass.
I made this go fund me because the surgery has been estimated to be $6,000+.
Titan’s owner is someone who not just my dear friend, but someone who would help anyone’s animals’ in need. She is a volunteer wildlife rehabilitator who dedicates her time helping animals on a daily basis. I would love to help ease some of the financial stress to help with the surgery of her best friend, Titan.
Anything will help. If you simply can’t, if you could share this with your friends & family, that would be so amazing.
Thank you for taking the time in reading this.
Sincerely,
Marissa Meglio
