My name is Mason Martin, and I am very excited to say I have been accepted to serve God and the Church across the ocean in Wales.

  I will be joining a team of interns with the organization Missional Links Wales for 10 months, from September 2020 to July 2021. When I get there I will be placed with a church and a host family somewhere in the country where I will do work to share the gospel with the local population.

  Christianity has been on a steady decline in the UK. More and more people have been identifying as "non-religious", meaning they do not associate with any religious belief. Wales specifically has 7% of the population claiming to attend a church regularly, while only an estimated 2% of the population are actual evangelical Christians.

   My passion is serving God and showing His wonder and love to those who haven't seen it. I have been working in a youth ministry internship for the last year and a half as of the time I post this. I believe that it is so important for children to hear the good news of the gospel so that they may grow into mature adults knowing that they have the God of the universe on their side. I do not yet know specifically what sort of ministry I will be working in while I'm there, but I will work hard in whatever I do to help people see how great and good God really is.

  I am asking you to pray for me. Pray for safe travels, success overseas, pray for open hearts, pray for those that don't know Jesus to want to know Him. Pray for continuous growth in both myself, and all those we come in contact with.

   As of right now my goal is $15,000 to cover living expenses and travel, if you have the ability to financially support me and this mission, I would be so grateful.
