Mason's Lymphoma Battle

It comes to us with a very heavy heart to inform you that the son of one of Woodland's beloved employees has recently been diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma.  Mason Moody, son of Rachel Mallison, was having some symptoms that were thought to be pneumonia, however nothing was present on his x-rays.  They then proceeded with a CT Scan, at which time the found a grapefruit size mass behind his lung.  Shortly after they went to CARTI for a biopsy.  We received the results on Friday evening that Mason has Hodgkins Lymphoma.   Mason received his first round of chemotherapy last night.

Mason is a very young 23 years old with such a bright future ahead of him.  He graduated in May from Arkansas Tech in Russellville, with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.  He was an exceptional student, receiving the Engineer Student of the Year Award.  Immediately after graduation he landed an internship at Stark Manufacturing in Paris, Arkansas.  

First and foremost we ask that you pray for this young man and his family. We are also asking that you donate as you can to assist him and his family during this time.
