Mason Wolfinbargers FIGHT against Leukemia

Hi all, my name is Sandee Riffel and I’ve created this account on behalf of my cousins Mason, Richie, Haily and Reece Wolfinbarger.

 

The past few weeks Mason was not feeling well, and after being transported to Phoenix Children’s Hospital on January 19th, and being tested for everything under the sun, Mason was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia.

 

Mason, 17, is currently a senior in high school in Blythe, CA. Mason is a member of the golf team, and actively involved in FFA. Along with golf, he loves to show livestock and teach new and up and coming young showman how to show.

 

Obviously, we are all in a state of shock, as Mason has always been a healthy, outdoor loving, athlete and kid! Haily has not left the hospital since their arrival and Richie has been staying with us, as we are only a short drive to and from the hospital. We are all grateful to the teams of nurses and doctors at PCH, and the amazing fast and tedious work they have done and will continue to do for the foreseeable future.

 

The health of Mason is of the utmost importance. At the same time, the financial burden of a young family member with cancer is overwhelming. With treatments starting and all the expenses that go with it gas, food, and medical bills, along with their regular financial responsibilities, I wanted to take the chance and reach out to our family and friends to ask for a little support for a kid that deserves the world.

 

We want to thank you for reading this and know we are not only asking for monetary support but simple well wishes and prayers also go along way in helping Mason pave is path to recovery.
