Hello Everybody!
My name is Mason and my partner is Kaleb.
If you know me, I’m not usually someone who asks for help—especially when I really need it. This time, I simply can’t push through anymore. My family needs desperate help by 11/11/25.

Our Story:
I’m chronically ill and things have been worsening as time goes by. Since about December 2024, I have had many multiple ER visits with no answers. Everyday I struggle with nausea/vomiting, body tremors, eye issues, dizziness, limb numbness, and more. Things have gotten to a point where I am 80% numb in my pelvic area and I have to catheterize to be able to urinate. I have many neurological symptoms and sometimes struggle with walking/balance. I am always in pain (6-8 scale). Doctors have done bloodwork, MRIs, CT scans, lumbar punctures, etc. Nothing has come with an answer. It is in talks that I may have a condition called Functional Neurological Disorder (FND). The disease has a poor prognosis, and symptoms fluctuate and change every day. I may eventually end up wheelchair-bound if I have FND. Being so sick has greatly affected my ability to provide for myself and Kaleb. I am not able to go to work like I would like. I am missing at least one day a week (if not more) and having to adjust my schedule almost daily to work around my symptoms.

Normally, Kaleb and I would be okay during my ups and downs but Kaleb lost their steady job in December 2024 and hasn’t found solid employment yet. Kaleb’s unemployment benefits ran out about three months ago, and now we are starting to drown financially. They’re working a temporarily campaign job currently and trying to get a second job as a substitute teacher in New Haven but they’re currently waiting on paperwork to process and to be offered a spot.

We are just asking for donations to get back on our feet. Our financial stress is weighing down on us, and it is honestly making my health feel worse. We are behind on all of our bills; the most important being rent. We are about two months behind at this point. Our landlord has put out a notice to quit. We have until 11-11 to pay our balance off ($4200). Our ultimate goal is to feel safe and secure again. Any additional donations past our rent goal will go towards our utilities and purchasing mobility assistance equipment. Please help us secure our living space! Thank you.
