Mason Family Medical and Living Expenses

As you all must know by now, on August 6th, Mitch and Martha were in a terrible accident on their way to Duke University for Mitch’s cancer screening.

Mitch had surgery on his L3 to remove bone fragments that were making him unable to walk. He is currently at a separate facility than Martha but hoping to join her soon. Mitch will need rehabilitation to gain his strength to walk again.  

Martha had extensive injuries to her legs and arm. She required three surgeries to repair the damage that was done at the time of their accident. Martha was taken to a rehabilitation center closer to home following her surgeries. Her rehabilitation will include her learning to walk on her own and to regain full use of her hand and arm.

This being said, Mitch and Martha will need more than just our prayers which I know has been an uplifting comfort to both of them. They were already under a financial burden from Mitch’s cancer testing and treatments and now this.

This fundraiser is to help Mitch and Martha with medical and living expenses until they can both return to work and get back on their feet. We all love them and want to take this opportunity to help them and return some of the love they have shown all of us over the years. All monetary gifts, large or small, will be greatly appreciated. I know Mitch and Martha thank you from the bottom of their hearts.
