Mason Deckard

Mason was in a motorcycle accident on his way to work Monday morning and was Life Flighted to Vanderbilt. He sustained fractures to his spine in the thoracic and lumbar areas along with the sacrum bone. He had surgery today on his ankle to correct two broken bones. He has to wear a large turtle-shell back brace to prevent any movement. Mason will be unable to put ANY weight on his ankle for atleast 6-8 weeks. Once home he will need a wheelchair, walker and a commode chair since he will be unable to go to the bathroom.

Let me tell you a little about Mason. He is a husband and a dad to three young children. He was working two jobs to provide for his family while his wife is going to school and caring for their children. I’m sure he would be very appreciative if you can help. Thank you and God Bless each of you.
