Surgical Masks for The Children's Home

Tax deductible
The Children's Home  is a pediatric specialty hospital in desperate need of maks for the children, families, and staff that they support.

"These patients are the most medically fragile immunosuppressed patients"

-Pamela Keen RN, MHSA, Chief Executive Officer

Jacob and I work closely with a producer in China that can supply surgical masks in bulk.  Each mask costs 40 cents and the children's home needs 2,000 masks.

As two college students, we are seeking $1,000 in donations to provide these masks to the Children's Home which is financially struggling after having to close one of their main revenue sources, the daycare center, due to COVID-19.

If we surpass the goal, Pam said the money will be spent on providing food for the families staying in the hospital.

- The Children's Home has a dwindling supply of masks and their supply chain is providing for larger hospitals first
-These masks are not N95 masks, but they are much better than no masks at all
-The Children's Home gives $1.5 million in free care each year

This is a 1-year-old patient at the Children's Home on a ventilator. She has been discharged but many more are still in the hospital.

Please help by donating $20, the equivalent of 50 masks.
