Anna Fielder and the Mask Brigade

We are the Mask Brigade!  A group of 30+ women in and around Antioch, Illinois making masks and donating them to locals in need!  Our numbers grow daily and we produce and distribute between 400-900 masks a day! 

So far our recipients have been Police stations, nurses, hospitals, nursing homes, paramedics, vets, fire departments, waste management ect! All of these place are running out quickly or are completely out.  

We discovered that we may be able to help a little by creating these face masks, they are not a replacement to disposable masks which are the safest but instead they are cover for those disposable masks. When people use our covers, their disposable mask can last a little bit longer, not be exposed to sweat and so on. Our covers (masks) are washable and safe to use, we recommend nurses use one or two of our covers in a day and wash them as soon as they get home, by using the cover their disposable mask can last more than a shift.

So far we have used over 1500 yards of fabric!!!  And 7,000 yards of elastic!!!  We are humbly asking you for a small donation to make this happen and deliver as many face masks as we can. So far we have delivered over 18,000 masks!!! We are working as fast as we can and also enjoying it. Your help would help us towards fabric, elastic, needles, thread, pins, packaging, shipping and logistics

Currently it is costing about $3-3.50 to produce a mask. We are accepting donations to help with materials and pay for shipping. Donations keep our mission going!
