The medical community, our nursing homes and assisted living facilities, and our first responders are on the front line fighting Covid19. We as a group have been making and distributing cloth masks to help aid them in their quest to take care of us, treat our sick and keep us safe. To date, in just the last 13 days we have distributed over 2000 masks. But the need seems to be increasing, not decreasing with every delivery. Elastic costs have skyrocketed as it has become difficult to find. We have emptied our fabric collections that were in part set aside for Tutu Capers. So for those of you that have asked how you can help, and you can't sew, a small donation would be appreciated. It will help us with our materials cost, and if we have any extra funds when this nightmare is over, we will replenish our Tutu Capers supplies so we can get back to the business of making Super Hero Capes and Tutus for our medically fragile children.
