Help us build a Musallah in PLACE, in loving memory of Mohamad Abdul-Raouf Derbas. In every community there is that one man who does everything he can to serve people. A man who thinks about others before himself. A man whose passion for life radiates and infects all those around him. This was Mohamad Abdul-Raouf Derbas. Tragically, his life was cut short in 2021 during the peak of Delta infections in Sydney. May Allah swt grant him Jannat Al Firdaous. Ameen. Mohamad was a devoted son, brother, husband, father and Grand Father. His life's purpose was to give back to the people that needed most. He was fulfilling this purpose through his charitable organisation M Direct Shipping Services. To sustain that legacy our family are striving to build a place of prayer and worship in the place he loved most - the mountains of Lebanon. This project, in Mohammad's Derbas' name, will ensure he can continue to serve the people of his beloved homeland. A man of principle, integrity and compassion... Gone, but never forgotten. Help us to build a Musallah in his honor - help us sustain his legacy of serving others. Sadaqah Jariya for yourself and for him. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said “Sadaqah extinguishes sin as water extinguishes fire,” (Hadith, Tirmidhi). He also said that Allah offers relief on the Day of Judgement for those who give sadaqa: “The believer's shade on the Day of Resurrection will be their charity,” {إِنَّ الْمُصَّدِّقِينَ وَالْمُصَّدِّقَاتِ وَأَقْرَضُوا اللَّهَ قَرْضاً حَسَناً يُضَاعَفُ لَهُمْ وَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ كَرِيم}.
