In Loving Memory of Hamza
On the 6th of May 2024, at just 22 years old, our beloved Hamza tragically passed away in a car accident, leaving our hearts shattered and our lives forever changed. To lose someone so young, full of life, and with so much ahead of him is a grief beyond words. Hamza was a cherished son, grandson, brother, and nephew whose kindness, generosity, and warmth touched the lives of all who knew him. His light continues to shine in the memories we hold, and we are determined to honor his legacy in a way that reflects the love and compassion he brought into our lives.
Hamza was loved by so many. He had countless friends who spoke of his good character, his willingness to help others, and his ever-present smile. His kindness and positive energy were contagious and are missed deeply by all who knew him.
Since Hamza’s passing, many people have reached out to us asking how they could contribute to a Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing charity) in his name. In response to this outpouring of love and support, we decided to give those who wish to contribute a meaningful opportunity to do so, both for themselves and for Hamza.
Our aim is to build a Masjid via the charity One Ummah, who have sent us the finalized plan, and the work will be commencing within the next few weeks, In shaa Allāh.
The mosque will be built in Azad Kashmir, Pakistan, and will serve as a place of worship, peace, and community, where Hamza’s soul will receive ongoing blessings through every prayer offered and every good deed performed. Our vision for this mosque includes dedicated facilities for women to pray—something not commonly found in many mosques in Pakistan.
The mosque will be located next to an orphanage, and the orphans living there will have easy access to it. The impact of this mosque on the orphans and the wider community will be profound, as it will serve as a center of faith, unity, and support.
This is an opportunity for you to contribute to a Sadaqah Jariyah for yourself, while also creating Sadaqah Jariyah for Hamza. The Prophet Ṣallallāhu-‘Alaihi Wa Sallam said, “The shade of the believer on the Day of Resurrection is his charity” - Musnad Ahmad. By supporting this cause, you will be part of an ongoing reward that continues to benefit people for generations to come. I pray that Allāh grants us the ability to give generously in charity during our lifetime and blesses us with friends and family who will continue to donate on our behalf when we are no longer here.
May our charity become a source of continuous blessings, a Sadaqah Jariyah that benefits us in this world and the next. Let us remember the immense reward of giving, both for ourselves and for those who have passed, and seize the opportunity to earn Allāh’s favor. Aameen ya Rabb.
Lastly, we ask that you keep Hamza in your prayers. May Allāh have mercy on his soul and grant him a beautiful home in Jannah, beneath which rivers flow. Allāhumma Ameen.
