“Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.” (Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim)
Allah ﷻ says in the Qur’an:
“The mosques of Allah are only to be maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day, establish prayer, give zakah, and fear none but Allah. It is they who are expected to be on true guidance.” (Surah At-Tawbah 9:18)
And He says:
“The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed of grain which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies His reward for whom He wills.” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:261)
The Mission – Phase 2
Alhumdulillah, with your generosity and the mercy of Allah, Phase 1 of our Longwood Gardens Masjid project is complete — £700,000 raised for the purchase of the land! This is a monumental achievement of unity, faith, and community spirit.
Now, Phase 2 begins — raising the funds to start the construction of the masjid itself. This is our opportunity to build not just bricks and mortar, but a legacy of worship, education, and service for generations to come.
My Challenge – London to Brighton Ride
On Sunday, 14th September 2025, I will be taking on the London to Brighton Cycle Ride — a 55-mile challenge from the capital to the coast — to raise funds for Phase 2 of the masjid project. Every pedal stroke will be a step towards building a house of Allah that will echo with prayers long after we are gone.
How You Can Help
• Donate whatever you can — no amount is too small, and Allah promises to multiply your reward.
• Share this campaign with friends and family so more hearts can be part of this sadaqah jariyah.
• Make dua for success, ease, and acceptance from Allah.
Remember:
Your donation is not just charity — it is an investment in your akhirah. Long after we leave this world, the prayers made in the masjid you helped build will continue to count for you.
➡ Join me in this journey. Let’s build a home for Allah on earth so He builds a home for us in Jannah.
