We plan and our Lord plans and His plans are the best of plans. Life and death is in the hands of our most merciful Lord. Our Almighty takes and He gives.
Our beloved father, son, brother, grandad and best friend has returned to his Lord. Farook Kassam, the most caring, loving, huge hearted, precious and most beautiful man passed away due to cancer on the 5th of May at 11pm. With the beautiful and most glorious mercy by Allah, he was taken in our most beautiful month of Ramadan and could have been the night of Laylatul Qadr. Subhanallah.
Farook always gave everyone his all regardless of who it was, they left with the biggest smile after being with him. He would never leave anyone upset, nor would he ever let anyone leave empty handed. He was the biggest blessings Allah blessed us all with and we thank Allah every day for blessing us with such a great man in our lives. He was very rare and there is truly no one like him. Words cannot describe the great man he was. He was our everything, our world, our universe and beyond.
May Allah bless him with the highest ranks of Jannah, give him the most beautiful gardens in Jannah, May Allah widen his grave for him and give him the most peaceful time he's ever had. May Allah forgive him for everything and accept all his precious good deeds. May Allah reward him unlimitedly for everything he's ever done for everyone. May Allah reunite us all in Jannah Tul Firdous. May Allah always keep him at ease now. Ameen ya Rabul Alimeen. Please keep Farook and our family in your precious duas during this hardship. May Allah grant us all sabr.
For his loss and for the charitable man he was, we have decided to set up this go fund me page and raise funds for him as a sadaqah jariyah and carry out a mosque construction in malawi, the country that was the most dearest to him and where he was born. The money raised will be going towards the Masjid in Farooks name. It costs approximately £9500 to get one built and we pray to achieve this target whenever we can In Sha Allah. If more is raised, it will be going towards a water well on his name that we are carrying out in the family.
