*Philippines' Masjid Al-Sabr Water Well Donation*
Support is needed in Masjid Al-Sabr, a small masjid which occupies up to 100 members, located in the coastal city of Puerto Princesa on the island of Palawan in western Philippines. Imam Abdol Majid is the Imam at the Masjid, what makes this masjid different from most masjids is that the majority of the members are reverts from the local prison, Imam Abdol Majid frequently visits the prison in order to teach the 79 Muslim inmates the Quran and Tajhweed.
Firstly, they are seeking to install a simple water well, without the well it has made it very difficult to perform proper wudu. The masjid is used mainly by new revert Muslims from the local prison. The masjid can accommodate up to 100 worshippers.
Secondly, nor the masjid, nor the prison are able to sufficiently feed those who reside there because of high costs, so i'am looking to raise money for Imam Majid to purchase 2 cattles which will be distributed among the Muslim inmates.
The total cost of installing the simple water well;
20,000 Philippines Peso= US $399
And the cost for 2 cattles
58,000 Philippines Peso= US $1,156
