Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh

Five years ago, a small dream began to take shape in the heart of Nelson.

What began as a humble space has grown, by the permission of Allah, into a living, breathing home for our community... Masjid Al-Mustafa.

Alhamdulillah, in just five years, more than 500 students have walked through its doors in search of Islamic knowledge. Children have learned to recite the Qur'an, young hearts have strengthened their identity, and adults have found guidance, companionship, and purpose. Our daily congregational prayers continue to grow, while classes, reminders and community gatherings fill the masjid with life. What was once simply a building is now becoming an icon of Nelson, a sanctuary of faith, unity and hope.

None of this would have been possible without the mercy of Allah, your sincere duas, and your continued generosity.

As many of you know, our building has required constant care due to its age. Over the years, with your support, we have been able to install new windows, upgrade the heating system, construct a new basement, fit a new kitchen, refurbish the toilet facilities, and complete many other essential improvements.

Alhamdulillah, work has now officially begun on one of the most significant projects in our masjid's history... the complete renovation of the Main Jamaat Khana.

This sacred space is the heart of our masjid. It is where we stand before Allah in prayer, where tears of repentance are shed, where families embrace on Eid, and where Janazah prayers are offered for our loved ones.

The transformation is now well underway:

• New electrical wiring has been installed throughout the prayer hall.

• New plumbing has been completed.

• The damaged walls have been fully repaired and replastered.

• Insulation boards will soon be installed to improve comfort and efficiency.

• The entire masjid will then be beautifully tiled.

• A brand-new suspended ceiling will be fitted together with modern LED lighting.

• New air conditioning units will provide comfort throughout the year.

• The new Wudu Khana will benefit from underfloor heating, making it a warm and welcoming facility for all worshippers.

While tremendous progress has already been made, we still need your support to bring this project to completion.

This is far more than a building project. It is an investment in generations to come.

Every prayer performed, every child who memorises the Qur'an, every lesson delivered, every person guided, and every sincere dua made within these walls will, by the will of Allah, continue to add to the rewards of those who helped build and maintain this House of Allah.

We humbly ask you to support this noble cause with whatever you are able to give. No donation is too small. Every contribution brings us one step closer to completing this project.

Please donate generously, share this appeal with family and friends, and remember this project in your duas.

May Allah سبحانه وتعالى reward you abundantly, place immense barakah in your wealth and families, accept your charity as Sadaqah Jariyah, and make it a means of ongoing reward for you and your loved ones for generations to come.

Together, let us continue building and strengthening the House of Allah.
