Masjid Al-Baqi (Muslims on Long Island, Inc.) was established in 1999. It serves Bethpage, Hicksville, Plainview, Levittown, Syosset, Farmingdale, Massapequa and other surrounding towns.  Alhumdulillah, we are honored to have an amazing staff of 18 respectable scholars & skilled teachers to provide services to the community.
The original structure of the masjid was purchased in 1999 for $460,000. Due to the increased number of congregants and requirement of TOB, the building next door had to be purchased in 2011 for $1.2M.  With ever-growing need to support our community and the future generation, we are in desperate need to build a larger and better facility.  Insha Allah it will be possible with your prayers and generous support.  

The new building will have the following features:

Redesigned parking area
Indoor basketball court and community Hall
Separate prayer area for sisters
Elevator access for disabled
Wudu stations for brothers & sisters
Ample space for weekday & weekend classes
Spacious kitchen area
Library & conference room
