With the grace and blessings of Allah (S.W.T), the Muslim community of Hicksville is attempting to build a new masjid in Hicksville.
Alhamdulillah, there is a large Muslim community in Hicksville and it is in need of a Masjid. We are currently renting the second floor of the property located at 2 Heitz Place, Hicksville NY. Currently, the Masjid holds prayers 5 times a day, Jummah prayer every week, Children's Sunday School, and Quran class every day. Now, we are trying to buy the property.
InshaAllah we plan to build an Islamic center, including a school, funeral home, youth and senior center, a hifz program, and a main community event hall. The property also has extensive parking and we pray that this Masjid will help bring our Muslim brothers and sisters together and strengthen the bonds of our community.
We are in Urgent Need of $700,000 for the property closing . Please donate and help us build a Masjid in Hicksville, NY that will not only include a Masjid but will include a school and many other facilities. A child who learns at the Masjid will be a Sadqa Jaria for you as he recites what he learned for the rest of his life.
Uthman ibn Affan reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.”
