Masectomy bra fundraising

Hi there my name is Angela I have been raising funds since 2013 to provide free masectomy bras for ladies in the UK. I use the brand Anita as I think they provide one of the best quality bras in the industry. I did bra training back in 2013 and every year I have raised money to give ladies a free bra. Due to Covid I paid for all the bras myself as I felt times were difficult enough. I have helped so many ladies over the years and I know having the right underwear for a lady who has had breast surgery really does make a difference.

The bras I use have double pockets so a prosthesis can sit comfortably in the bra. Each bra at cost ranges between £20-30 excluding vat. I am fully aware there are cheaper brands but I wanted to give my ladies the best so they can feel like real women.

I have seen first hand the effects of cancer watching my own mother die of cancer it's heart breaking when there is nothing you can do to change someone's pain who is so very close to you.

Every pound makes a difference and I really hope you can spare a pound or two so I can make this my tenth year of providing the best lingerie to ladies who have lost a breast or breast to cancer.

I thank you for all your help in continuing making this project such a success. We should be able to purchase around 60 to 70 bras.
