THE EVIL IN JACOB AND ELIZABETH’S HOUSE DID NOT ENTER BY FORCE… THEY INVITED IT!
‘MASALAI’ is a malevolent spirit in Papua New Guinean culture.
‘MASALAI’ is about cultural divide, colonialism, spirituality and belief.
‘MASALAI’ is an exciting new horror film concerning an ignorant young couple who inadvertently summon a vengeful spirit and face the consequences.
We are a filmmaking collective studying at MetFilm school in Brighton who are looking to establish a name for ourselves. ‘MASALAI’ is a bold and ambitious independent film we want to make an impact in the local indie film scene.
Our vision is fuelled by a collective and collaborative spirit which can only be achieved through community and wider support. We want to make films people want to see, and any show of support or investment from the community is integral to our vision. Our resources are limited but we want to prove that even with such resources, we can achieve something impressive and compelling.
Our budget will fund the visual make up of our film including props, set dressing, practical effects and make up. It will also contribute towards logistical expenses such as travel costs for our actors.
If you want to see this film, make it happen! Your support will be extended immense gratitude and will make our vision a reality for the people.
