Masaharu Morimoto

To friends, family, and all,

Yoshiyasu and I have some very unfortunate news. Two weeks ago, 6 months into my pregnancy, at a routine check we were told that Masaharu heart stopped beating. Our little boy was gone.

I was induced into labor and his shell was born in 2/9 at 2:12pm.

I am now on government mandated 6 week unpaid maternity leave. My company USJ has done their best to accommodate us financially despite the loss of pay so we will still have a roof over our head thankfully but we are finding ourselves in need of extra financial support for hospital bills and funeral and cremation services.

We are devastated but trying our best to be strong and move forward. We thank all of our friends and family who have been supportive since we learned the news.

If possible please share as it’s been hard to talk to people individually and share the news.

Yoshiyasu and I are grateful and lucky to have met our son, Masaharu, even if it was for just a short time.
