My name is Mary,  I am a 4-time Paralympian and I was born with a rare condition called Pseudohypoparathyroidism which affects my mobility.   I use a walker and a power wheelchair to get around. This helps me maintain my independence.  My current chair has been falling apart for some time now, I got it in 2004.   In December of 2014 I was evaluated for a new chair and the insurance company has been back and forth with me on what they will approve.    I need to pay for 20% of my chair.
