Mary’s Open Heart Recovery
Donation protected
Our Grandma, Mary Jane Roberts, had a massive heart attack this week. She has had a balloon pump placed to keep her heart beating, has been in immense pain, and is taking longer than average to recover. She had open-heart surgery at CMH yesterday to repair as much damage as possible and is still on the ventilator until her lung function improves. The doctors noticed fluid around her heart during surgery that looked different than it should. They have sent this to be tested. Until they have results, they are covering her with many antibiotics. Her husband, our grandpa, Garry, got news today that she may need care in a short-term setting once she is taken off the ventilator and more recovered. The co-pay for this stay in rehab will be very costly and we would love to lighten the load on them as much as possible. If you find it in your heart to donate, know that we greatly appreciate it and every bit helps. If you are unable to donate, please share a happy thought below to keep them in good spirits! We will also be setting up a meal train.
