Hi everyone, my name is Mary Sue Benz. I have been invited to, and very much would love to attend, a Church related activity in Nauvoo, Illinois! I recently converted and was baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and am very excited at the possibility of being able to attend this activity! This would be a wonderful opportunity for me to learn more and experience the history of the LDS Church and the life of Joseph Smith. I will also get to see an old friend that I haven't seen in over 20 years (the inviter), as well as meet new and like minded friends from all over!

The reason I am in need of assistance is because I am my mothers primary caregiver. Her needs at the moment will not allow me to work a regular job, making our budget very tight. I was recently approved for and am doing DoorDash, which has been a blessing and is helping ends meet. But I don't think it will be enough to cover the $500 required for this trip. I do have my mothers care covered while I am away. One of my adult children or my brother will be with her.
