Mary's Home Take 2! Let's help her rebuild!

Hi there! I am Stephanie Hengstenberg, organizing this fundraiser for our sweet friend Mary Ruvolo. I worked with her at Radio City Christmas Spectacular over 20 years ago. I recently had the good fortune of spending time with our dear friend Mary, but for an unfortunate reason.

As you may know, she and Wendy divorced last year, and in an attempt to give their kids another good place to live, Mary found a beautiful new home built just south of Fair Park in Dallas. In August, there was a bad storm (the last one this bad was over 100 years ago) and Mary's new house flooded with 9 inches of water (she posted a video of it on her FB page). The home was built at a low street point, and the drainage wasn't properly established. Because she had just moved in and there were still boxes everywhere, most of her belongings were destroyed. Including precious memorabilia from her days as a performer.

Mary has been a teacher for Dallas ISD for a while now. This job only affords her so much, so she must request a loan to pay for the repairs. I know she would never ask for it, but I figured if we all chip in, it could only help her in this time of need.

If you know Mary, you know she would do anything for you. This fundraising effort is an excellent opportunity for our Theatre family to do what we can to help our fellow thespian! Give what you can, as I know any amount will help her get back on her feet after this weird act of God. She could use a little help from her friends.
