Marys fight for recovery

Hi my name is Ashley and I am fundraising for my Aunt Mary.

My aunt has faced many challenges through life including losing 2 husbands and 3 children along the way. She is now battling the fight for her own life and we are begging you for help.

In 2022 she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. She completed chemotherapy and was suppose to start radiation when suddenly she was unable to walk. She went for an MRI which showed extensive damage and a break from a recent fall. She underwent back surgery a few weeks ago where she was sent to a rehab. Unable to move she was completely dependent on these health care professionals to care for her. Instead of caring for her they were verbally abusive and neglectful even sticking her own feces in her face ignoring her calls for help and allowing her to develop a pressure ulcer-to name a few. She cried herself to sleep every night with such heart ache from the pain and the way she was being treated.

Enough was enough. We involved corporate who showed a lack of remorse and we requested a transfer. Now, she is at a beautiful rehab in Naples but it is private. This is where we are desperate for your support to help with the funds needed for her to stay here to recover so she can go home to her family including her son Mike, grandchildren and a disabled son who needs his mom to get strong to come home. Please I’m begging you anything will help.
