Hi, my name is Tammy. I am trying to raise funds for my sister, Mary Depolito. I know it has all been very quiet about what has been going on with her, so I will give an update as she gave me permission to do so. For the past 2 to 3 months, Mary has been having severe back pain, leg pain, and tingling in her leg and foot. She went to the doctor, and they did an MRI which showed some masses. Then the doctor ordered a CT scan with contrast of her abdomen and pelvis. Well, she got those results back, and it showed 3 masses, the largest being 7.6 cm, which is huge, and two others. She went to see an oncologist in Middletown, and he wanted her to do a PET scan and a biopsy to rule out lymphoma cancer. Not sure if that is what it is, but it is very concerning for the doctor.

She went to get them set up, and her insurance won't pay only $25 of the PET scan, and the biopsy was $7,000. They had a program where they got it down to $4,000, but it's still a lot of money. Her insurance is not covering it, and she needs a down payment to get this biopsy done as soon as possible. She only works part-time, so her insurance is not that great, but we need for her to get these tests done to rule out if she has cancer or not. Mary has been a mess for the past 2 to 3 weeks dealing with all this and not having the money to cover the cost for these procedures. So I am asking my friends and family if they could help her out in any way possible so she can get these done. No amount is too small. If you can't donate, please share. We are all worried about her, so the quicker we can help her, the faster she can have these tests done. I know Mary would not want this; she doesn't like asking for help, but I have to do something to help her. I am so worried about her. She needs these done as soon as possible.
