DIP & DONATE
For my birthday this year, I'm challenging you to complete a 60 second dip (virtually in your own time) and donate whatever you can to S.H.O.U.T {Sligo Hospital Oncology Unit Trust}.
I've chosen this charity because of they work they do everyday to help everyone that walks through the doors of their unit.
Having being diagnosed with breast cancer in August 2018, I hold the staff of Sligo Oncology Unit with the greatest respect. The support my family and I was showed during those daunting months was truly amazing and I will forever be grateful for everything they do to make you feel at ease and comfortable.
To thank them for the work they do all money donated will be going directly to S.H.O.U.T to ensure that future patients of this unit have a comfortable and positive experience like I had the pleasure of.
On April 10th along with my family we will brave the water for 60 seconds
I've included information about SHOUT below.
SHOUT was firstly established in 2003 with the aim of improving the provision of Cancer Care for patients within the local region. Much of the focus of SHOUT is providing financial support for individual cancer patients who are encountering hardship during their cancer treatment. This has become very much more of a focus for SHOUT in the current financial climate and one that is crucial to making the cancer a little easier.
