Study Abroad in Germany

Hi! For those that don't know me, my name is Mary.  I am a full-time student at my local community college, and between class schedules, I work part-time at a child care center. I am working towards earning a degree in Early Childhood Development, and my second love is photography so I am taking classes on that as well.

That lends me to this - I heard about the study abroad program through school and how it had to have something to do with my studies. To go abroad? and get college credit for it? sounded like a dream! I applied, not knowing if I would be accepted or not, and this week I recieved my acceptance letter with details. I also recieved a partial scholarship. That in itself is a huge blessing.

Personally, I have $300 saved to go towards this trip. I am reaching out to all family and friends to see if there is anyway possible I can have $1550 of my campaign goal raised by Friday, March 10 , 2017. If I cannot I will have to back out of the program or repay the scholarship amount on Monday March 14th. If that happens and I back out, you will be refunded. I know this is short notice, but it is what I was told in the email acceptance letter I recieved yesterday.

The trip cost pays for travel, 2 meals a day, and lodging. I will be attending class sessions 2hrs a day, 5 days a week then do excursions with the group. The trip is tentatively set for May 13-June 3.

Thank you for taking time to look at this. I am so excited for the possiblity, I am going to day to start working on my passport.
