As you may have heard MaryLou Huffling passed away. Home Sweet Home Care MaryLou's private duty care team is raising donations for a stone memorial bench to be placed in the Millet Green to honor her.

MaryLou was the Co-founder and director of the Fall Mountain Food Shelf and has been volunteering there for 40 years to provide to our community residents in need. Her core mission throughout her life has been to help others. The Thanksgiving baskets from the Fall Mountain Food shelf are legendary! She has done all this without asking for anything in return.

As we have seen with the incredible generosity to the Fall Mountain Food Shelf and Friendly Meals, this is a community that knows how to show their love, now is the time for the community to show their love for someone who has done so much for others. We all feel it's important that angels in our communities like Marylou be recognized and so many referred to her as "Alstead's Angel"

Donations can be made here or in person at The Mascoma Bank in Walpole NH just say you want to make a donation to the MaryLou Huffling Memorial fund. We will also have donation cans out at some of the local businesses.
