My best friend, Danielle, her sister Starr and brother Russell, just lost their mother Thursday night (April 23). Mary battled breast cancer years ago. Recently, she had emphysema and went into the hospital Monday. They found cancer that had spread to her lungs and her brain. She passed away unexpectedly Thursday night from a heart attack.
Mary was an amazing person. She was a single mom, she was a second mother to me, and the rock for her family. She’s the kind of person who’d give you the shirt off her back. She could crack a joke in a split second, and had a personality you couldn’t help but enjoy being around her.
She leaves behind many loved ones, including her siblings, children, grandchildren, and many other just like me who considered her family. Please, please help if you can! They need help covering funeral expenses and to give their Mother a proper ceremony and celebration of life.
