Mary-Ellen Savard Brain Tumor Help

Hello Everyone

Our friend Mary-Ellen Savard was having some mental issues recently and after a CT scan on Sunday, February 5th found a large brain tumour she was medevac’d to Edmonton where she underwent brain surgery which revealed a Grade IV Astrocytoma brain tumour.

Mary-Ellen being the tough lady that she is came through the surgery successfully. Unfortunately, the prognosis is not what they were hoping for and she will be undergoing a 30-day Radiation/Chemotherapy treatment at the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton to give them as much time together as they can.

Her condition will require constant care and her husband Rick Savard will be by her side the entire time. Being away from home and unable to work will take a financial, physical and mental toll on both Rick and Mary-Ellen.

Any financial donations are greatly appreciated as they will ease some of the burdens on Rick and Mary-Ellen which will allow them to focus on treatment and enjoy as much time together as possible.
