hello! My name is Chrissy Kirkwood, I am turning 39 on Saturday (5/24).

On 5/10/25 I found out my mom had a stroke in Baguio. Her and her husband were trying to manage it at home - however she's still paralyzed on her right side of her body, slurring words, and hasn't left the bed in over 11 days. Finally - after multiple requests and pleas for medical intervention... on 5/21 , they called 911 and got to a hospital.

I know there are going to be medical bills and costs they are not able to pay for - so I am reaching out to all my networks from my 39 years of being alive to help IF you can. Don't do it if you CAN'T. Life is HARD for many people right now. Sending well wishes, positive energy, loving thoughts are powerful too.

My mom Maryann is in her early 70's. She enjoys eating fruits, gardening, her grand dogs in America, sewing, and we hope that after she is stabilized and safe to travel, we can get her back to America ASAP where she is a citizen and has access to medicare.

I have a joint account with my mom -- which is why I'm doing this under "my name" instead of a fundraiser for "someone else" in case anyone was wondering.
