Hi, my name is MaryAnne Lepinskie and on August 26th, 2021 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and on September 14th, 2021 I underwent surgery for a partial mastectomy. I have an appointment with my surgeon on October 7th to review the pathology results and talk about next steps for treatment. Though I usually work 50+ hours/week, I work at 2 part time jobs which means I am not entitled to paid sick time, paid vacation time or Extended Health Benefits. Due to the time that I was unable to work during the investigation process throughout August, combined with the time I am off recovering from the recent surgery, I am not able to cover my immediate expenses. Living with the stress and uncertainty of a Cancer diagnosis as well as the financial stress and worry of whether or not I will be able to keep a roof over my head and food on the table, feels at times unbearable. Therefore, I have created this GoFundMe page in the hopes of raising money to help cover these immediate expenses.
